Edinburgh-based Teebster Productions is seeking four production trainees to work on our forthcoming 3 Minute Wonders series for Channel 4 and the NSPCC, Raw Cuts.

Ideally, we are looking for people with some experience in documentary or short film production. Experience of working with young people would also be an advantage and we especially welcome applications from those who already have disclosure screening.

We should stress that, ideally, we are looking for candidates who have already produced a short film - ideally documentary - or who have been involved in film production and show the necessary drive, commitment, creativity and aptitude to get into production.


HOW TO APPLY

We currently have 16 shortlisted semi-finalists, aged between 13-17, all of whom were chosen from thousands of entries to the Raw Cuts competition based on what they told us about themselves and their identities. Each of these 16 young people were given a 3G mobile phone and asked to blog a week of their life using the video and stills camera on the phone. We will shortly be choosing eight of these semi-finalists to go through to the next stage and join us for four days of workshops at Channel4's HQ in London, where we will develop their stories further for a one minute microdoc and - for four lucky winners - a short film for 3 Minute Wonders. We'd like you to take a look at the 16 semi-finalists and let us know one of these you would choose to make a film about, why you chose them and what particular aspect of their character/story you would choose to focus on and develop for a short film.
